Bubba in Decline?

Whenever I scan the dial Bubba is talking about MJ or Wrestling. Boring! Add to that, he lost credibility with his listeners - both satellite and terrestrial - with his weeks of drama over contract negotiations with Sirius, then signing and not telling the truth (that Sirius was only going to replay his 102.5 morning show.) His listeners may be blue collar, but they know when they've been bamboozled. Even posts on his website, as few as there are nowadays, indicate he is in decline - and they don't mean his size.

I agree the MJ talk needs to back off a bit. It gets annoying after a year and a half! We all know MJ is a ****** Bubba, tone it down some brother. His show (minus the MJ talk) is still much better than anything out there right now on satellite or terrestrial.
 
Bill, I think the answer to your question is maybe Bubba grew up and decided to deliver more "adult" content. I'm as much a normal guy as the next, and surely interested in women, but come on, home much of that lame stripper/lesbian/wrestling crap can you listen to in a regular week?

I'm sure most Bubba listeners agree that MJ is lame, and now people claim Bubba's show is becoming that way too but be honest with yourself. WHAT SHOW in this market is worth listening to? L&T? Mason? Nance and partner of the month? Satelite sucks. Terestrial sucks. Some of the most interesting shows today are now streamed over the internet. While we dont have the mass technology to receive this yet in cars and walking around, it's on it's way. And until the next greatest thing in radio since sliced bread comes along....
