Is Bubba on the way to Charleston? LM added him to mornings in Charleston SC so it may not be long until the "sponge" is on the air in Charleston. Run it lean and mean no matter what the cost to the community.
 
I believe that “Bubba” is an all or nothing deal. If the show wins the money demos the first ratings book it will survive any “knee jerk” reaction of the local buyers. I have briefly heard the show only a couple of times and was not impressed good or bad. I have heard there was some controversy, but after “The Regular Guys” have survived in Atlanta, and the crap on MTV, I do not think anybody really cares. If there is any controversy and the show does not beat the others stations in the ratings, it is time to start checking out the exit clauses of the contract. Is the existing show billing well? Is this show free (just run some commercials) or do you have to pony up some cash?
