Bubba's Show Has Turned Into A Telethon.

Actually I think it was a Flint station that they were trying to sell as a Detroit signal.
With a lobe about the equivalent of 200 kw from near Flint aimed right at Detroit, it was a Detroit signal.

What was the situation that caused Bubba to get swept under the rug? The Arbitron fiasco?

Makes you think he should’ve stayed at Sirius and ride Howard’s coattails for the past 18 years. He’d be making more money and not having to take donations on Twitch (which is the CashApp of streaming platforms)

If memory serves me correctly, it was Sirius that decided to drop Bubba's show, and Howard had nothing to do with it. They were looking to cut corners at the time and offered him a much lower salary on his contract renewal, and he didn't take it. They both speak about each other on occasion, and they have been on each other's shows.

Does Bubba still own the unpaved dirt racetrack near Ocala? 🤣
I'm not sure Bubba owns much of anything these days. With no major FM station carrying his show he can't have much of an income.

As to his being dropped by Sirius XM, Stern allowed all the outside voices to get cut by Sirius XM from his Howard 101 channel. The news department was eliminated as well.

Did Sirius do this over Howard's objections? I think they probably said, we'll give you the money we were paying for original programming and news. I doubt they discontinued these things without Stern's OK.

And the former program director Tim Sabean exited Sirius Marci Turk took over as PD she made alot of those moves mentioned above

Based solely on what multiple former Stern staffers have said about Howard, his values, outlook and (often lack of) consideration of others, if Howard himself even had any say about other "talent" and news being removed from Howard 101, he probably told SiriusXM to do whatever they wanted, as long as it didn't affect his show or his income.
