I'm sure that Buck knew about that and approved it. KNIX was all about business and the youth market was very important to being top rated.
That's exactly right. Buck lived in the present, not in the past. If the people wanted to hear his music, he encouraged them to go to his Crystal Palace theater. He was very proud of KNIX and also proud of the Real Country network he did with ABC. He was able to sell most of his stations for a huge pile of money. His sons still run the stations in Bakersfield, and they're doing well too.
