What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is a goin' on here? Even though we had to change our screen name and user ID to get back on, the Middle Eastern Men Of The Media are here! Wassup since last we opined? Hmmmm...Jay Lawerence had Taz on Sunday night talking about the glory days of KT'R. Chick Boss is now 50+ days since Scott Connor departed. Thanks to Brian James, no one remembers Scott Connor any more. In spite of some pretty hip and relevent production, Pat McShill still sounds like a geezer. Joe Crummey is humble and handsome on KFYI...or at least that's what his show opener sez. And if you really want to go nuts, count the number of times Ted Simonds says "I gotcha" to his callers. Enough already! The Men In Secret Underwear should be auditioning new talent between 1 and 4pm, instead of after a D'backs game. Wonder is Brian James will get an audition call on KT'R?
 
Is it really possible to make Gerald sound interesting?

I've been trying to listen to Gerald McBland and my take is this:All the tight production elements and solid rejoiners in the world won't make Gerald sound any younger or more interesting. Great production for the wrong host is like being a mortuary cosmetologist...no matter how good the makeup looks, it's still going on a dead body.Once a week he could be tolerated. Every day??? Ugh.
 
Phew! Thank God some of the regulars are trickling back. It's good to see Dr. A & Nurse J. checking in from the Media Hut.
 
I finally made it!They screwed up my prior name and didn't fix it, so I just reregistered.KTAR is so drizzly dull, McBland sucks. I tried to listen to the McBland group the other day, but its all the same old suckups. Its more dull than the cheezy christmas pagent they do every week. Its not Pat's age, I'd rather have someone experienced in life, its his smarmy country club style and his Merv Griffin (aren't I wonderful?) delivery.And Carlson, I like your analogy, I always use my own, its close "Its like a hot looking nun, what's the use?"
