Sounds like Paul Kiels will be back at his play-by-play microphone for the Buckeyes this week. Hopefully his recovery from surgery is going well. IMHO Marty Bannister did a stellar job the past couple of weeks. Your thoughts?
 
97.7 on FM from Oxford comes in very well here either at home or in the car. That is especially nice when the Buckeyes are playing at night and AM signals from stations in Middletown and Dayton are much harder to receive.

97.7 is no longer based in Oxford, and hasn't been for years. The tower is now in Mason, and the home offices are in Georgetown until the switch to Spanish.
 
and the switch to Spanish is either at midnight or six am, I would assume.

I didn't like Marty's work filling in. Just felt rough.

Good to have Paul back.

Anyone know if the Buckeyes will still be on 97.7 and 99.5 after the flip to Espanol?

Maybe it's just me, but I am surprised that some other station in the market hasn't flipped already to Spanish to beat 97.7 to the punch.

Maybe it's just me - but then, the signal is horrible so it really doesn't matter.
 
Red, I think you're probably right. They're so NOT a player that nobody really pays them any attention.

Betcha Sherriff Jones is making everyone show their papers before sign-on..hence the delay. ;-)
