Bucks or Boards?

Last week the CCU suits donated 12 billboards in an effort to catch the Baseline/Serial killer(s). Yesterday The Men In Secret Underwear donated $50k for the same cause. Nurse Jeff and I think CCU comes out the winner for several reasons: they were first; it's not out of pocket cash; their 28 radio stations can treat it as a news story; and the boards stay up a long time. For TMISU, it's a one time shot that can only be reported on their 2 1/4 radio stations. However there's another connection...hmmmm :-X

Actually, TMISU benefit by giving cash--they get to brag about the payout when/if the killers are found. (And they can write-off the $50k.)

It's also a shrewd move on their part. The serial killers might never be found and they just avoided paying $50k!

Personally, I think Captain Super should hand over the reward money, if the killers are found through tips. If the serial killers aren't found, then Gerald should announce that he is taking back all of the money for TMISU.

It's a win-win for TMISU!!!

Captain Super and Sheriff HO can take joint credit for SINGLE handedly apprehending the killer. Without their personal involvment, nobody is safe. NOBODY!

It's interesting. The Baseline Killer's and Serial Shooter's last strikes was just when the Israel-Hezbollah deal was heating up. Next time either or attacks, if everything else is quiet, this will see a full-court national media press on par with the Beltway Sniper.

Of course, the thing that will suck is that if it happens in September, the tourism market in the area will take a big hit.
