Bud Lowell Back On Rochester Radio

Maybe the third time is the charm. ::)

As I previously posted twice on here, but the posts disappeared, my congratulations to long time Rochester radio newsman Bud Lowell for landing a (part-time) job at WHAM 1180 radio.

Bud is anchoring the news on the weekends at WHAM.

Before that Bud spent over 30 years as a newscaster/reporter at WXXI.

I had the pleasure of working with Bud for 14 years at WXXI and knew him before that when we were competitors.

He’s a hard-working individual and one of the good people in the broadcasting industry.

Best wishes to Bud and I hope the part-time gig turns into a full-time job.

An addendum to this post!
It came to my attention that someone currently working at WHAM is providing misinformation regarding Bud and his status at the radio station.
Bud is NOT been named News Director nor is he working there full time.
As posted, Bud is just working just part-time weekends as a newscaster….period.
While I personally wish Bud was named News Director, a job that he is more than suited for, another person was hired for that position.
I hope this clears up any rumors that might be circulating around.
