Re: What's next for WLAM? SUN-JOURNAL SAYS IT WILL GO TO ESPN
According to an accompaning (but not discussed here) Sun-Journal article, WLAM-1470 will go ESPN Sport on December 6th. However the article was centered more on the decision to end the French weekend show done by a local lady at the same time as the format switch. However, as mentioned here, Nassau HAS announced WLVP-870 would go to ESPN, but it didn't happen. - WLAM-1470 has scored impressively in the ratings, and Nassau sure does know how to program music formats such as WLAM-1470, and their Franks... however, programming for adults over 45 (WLAM-1470) does not bring in the cash.
