;D ;D ;D ;D :eek: :eek: :eek: :p :p :p ::) ::) ::) ::)

You RANG? The worst thing is their old MW-5 is way off frequency. Even if you can't hear their audio, it makes a horrible beat note on 1010 and messes with everyone on the frequency for a thousand miles or more.

WHIN! FIX YOUR TRANSMITTER!!!!

Just curious.........if you live in another state, how do you know what transmitter WHIN has? I'm wondering if you might be Scott posing as Powell way.

Get out about 35 miles and you will see. It's a simple fix.

I have. Next?

Hmmf. It sounds like they are off 100 hertz or so. Close to sign off time out about 25 miles and you can tell. You have to have another station to cause the beat note. If your radio doesn't have good bass response you might not notice it..... too much. If someone checked the station's frequency with a frequency counter....welll..... :mad: ??? :-\

AS I SAID, it's a simple fix. And what is Worm-O ?

How will this affect WMRO? ;D

Nothing affects WMRO, since there are no listeners. ;D

Well Hello Mr. Oldies 5161 & everyone, :D

I decided to return. I've been reading everyone's comment about WMRO. I have been laughing because when you talk about WMRO, you are talking about me as a business person.

Well, Mr Oldies 5161, my question is, how do you know that WMRO has no listeners? Do you have documents showing that, arbitron? I can not afford the book and maybe at times during the broadcast day, WMRO may not have any listeners. Or tell me, is it just because the station change format from 60's/early 70's Oldies to AC a few years ago, and that's not your cup of tea? Be honest!

I was once told by Michael St. John that one phone call means that a station has atleast 20 listeners. While I have no proof that fact is true, I take it that if I do get a call, atleast there is "ONE" listener.

I've never expected this little AM station to set the world on fire, and I knew that when I got it, but it's just a hobby I love and if I just have 1 listener or 15 listeners, that's o.k for me.

I think I may know who you are, so I invite you to call me at the station and we'll discuss it more off the board.

Oh, I'll try to slow down on the keyboard to avoid mis-spelling.
