I looked it up and the song performed on the Tonys was called "Candela".

What radio format would include that?

I'm guessing like nearly every other musical style I like, it would be hard to find on the radio because the audience is old.
 
I like the Buena Vista Social Club.

I can picture it working on some sort of more loosely formatted easy listening station (not Beautiful though. Too strict).

I don’t remember anything from Hamilton getting any radio airplay. And the show was a huge hit and the original cast recording has sold about 5 million units.
