And I guess Tinelli stole the name for Videomatch and then Showmatch when he switched channels.

It's curious because Videomatch already existed in 1991! But it was only Monday to Friday (it was Monday to Sunday in 1990). I don't know if they were uh, "inspired" on Telematch but one cannot unsee the similarities.
