I found a catalog from the Robertson-Cataract Electric Company from Buffalo with outlets in Niagara, Elmwood and Mohawk from 1922. A little flashback for this market's own radio supplier.
A block away from 75-79 W. Mohawk St. -- McCarthy Brothers & Ford, who launched Buffalo's first licensed radio station WWT in April 1922 one month before WGR. They didn't last very long, after many times off the air they went dark around September of that year.
