One of two players in Buffalo's progressive talk wars, 1270 WHLD "The Voice of Reason" can now be heard online (with Winamp or Real Player):

WHLD is operated by local activists and runs a mix of programs produced by local groups along with shows from Pacifica and AAR.

It shouldn't be long. Though Entercom's WROC/950 Rochester doesn't stream, sister talk WBEN/930 and sports WGR/550 in the Buffalo Entercom cluster do...and so does Entercom libtalker KCTC/1320 Sacramento:

Coincidentally, the term "The voice of reason" has been applied to Libertarian talk host Eric Scott on WKBK, Keene,NH. They do not stream but offer MP3's to listen to, (but not download unfortunately) on their website www.wkbkam.com

Al Franken does his show from Buffalo today with a live audience (600 seats, reportedly all sold out).

This is GOOD NEWS!!!!!I was excited when 1520 switched to all liberal talk....We need more stations like this,this is 1 link ill be adding to my favorites straight away!!Thank you for this report and YES,wwkb should start streaming soon!!
