Buffalo's KB does it EVERY Saturday!

WABC's music experiment last Saturday, while novel for NYC, is happening
every Saturday night on KB in Buffalo (1520). They do a live all-request
show with phone calls from all over the Eastern USA and much of Canada.
And they play some 50s/60s treats you haven't heard in 40 years. Great
stuff! Legendary Top 40 jock Jack Armstrong does afternoons on KB and
can be heard in NYC even before dusk. It's original Top 40 radio with
retro jingles, commercials and more. Check out the fun on 1520! I can't
believe one of our NYC AM's couldn't do this type of programming, even
if it was only weekend cast-off shifts.

I've caught some of this, great stuff, I used to pick up WKBW AM on my transistor radio at night in the 60s,as a little teeny bopper, switching over to them and CKLW from Detroit to hear the Motown stuff that 77 WABC never got around to adding to their tight, but successful playlist
Edited by lalumia on 12/10/05 01:02 AM.

And I can not believe that KB will not stream. They do not drift over hear because of the once great KOMA 1520.

Tell the people at KB to stream.
