"bulldog" brian tilton

anyone have any thoughts about this guy? i happened to catch his show the other day and the whole liberarian schtick thing was, well, a bit bland. i was wondering, why did they get rid of that guy el grande and replace him with this whiner?

Well, I haven't heard Brian's current show, but he seemed to be play the sidekick part nicely with Konrad Kayne on WNTK. As far as Gardner goes, I've met him and engineered his show on WNTK back in the day when he first started doing talk back in the early 90s. (I think... correct me if I'm wrong).

My understanding was that TPL felt that Gardner's approach was considered too "out-of-reach" for the average listener. (Or at least, "their" average listener.)
