Congratulations. Aren't these the folks that started in Huntsville (?) under a different name and did the Montgomery deal under the present name and have come further South? Good luck! Welcome to the black hole for pretenders, the Dothan market will make the other two look easy. Real broadcasters or pretenders, we will know which by Februarish. Either way I bet things are going to be shaken quickly.
Does AP have a non-compete with TRP? Hmmm, this could be quite entertaining.

Just to set the record straight. Bluewater is NOT doing an LMA. The agreement is a Management Agreement, where Bluewater management will oversee the Magic Dothan operation - as if Bluewater was "corporate" or "home office" on behalf of the investors. The is no purchase option or LMA. There is a participation agreement on the upside potential of returning the cluster to it's previous levels of success. Let's try to get our facts straight guys.

IF the participation agreement does reach previous levels (whatever they may be) then the way you word it there's been no agreement set for a purchase price so if Blue is successful then Magic sets any price it wants? But in the mean time Blue is, as the 'manager of record', liable for employee law suits, payments to vendors, taxes(?), payroll, hiring, firing, station vehicle wrecks/liabilities, FCC inspections and fines, etc, etc, etc? Yes or no? Just want to get the facts right sfla boy. If the response is yes then isn't Magic basically off the hook for really bad stuff and Blue is dangling as bait?
Someone talk me down and explain all this legaleese to me whilst I ponder the situation here on the court house steps.

Its kinda ironic that company with 3 stations in another market, struggling to stay at the top of the game would manage another cluster???? (Bluewater hold # 5, #7, and #9) Impressive for a little company but if it was I incharge over at Magic I think I would want someone closer to the top guiding me along, not half way there and at the bottom....Just my 2 cents.

Welcome to the Wiregrass Bluewater.......And just to clarify, tbarber and I are two different people with
the same "real" name and many other like family names. TB was a great GM to me for a couple of years
in Montgomery. TRP wish you the best. By the way, I'm not sure about the credentials of this "sflaboy".

I think the lawyers are going to have a good time with this relationship before it's all over. Really do hope things go well for Blue but this is trajic we are talking about. It has always seemed that bad karma surrounded the place.

New management and new operators...and from our first impression a good staff. You sure are buzz killer son. That's the only thing that's "tragic".
