Implications are possibly big and many, but one thing for sure, it will get people in market 192 talking about radio which will be good for it. Many legal issues involved. Serious revenue issues. Most talk on the board will be about on-air but sales=relationships=$$$ (here's where when is). I actually don't think that on air replacements will be too difficult, not because the talent that left wasn't good (#'s like that consistently...they're good), but because there is presently a WHOLE lot of talent available thanks to the state of the industry, even for 192. Reading will be entertaining for quite a while. But the word irreverent yet essential to the jock, revenue, will leave because partnered air and sales talent are vacated (please refer this board, period - one year to two years ago) which means a second gut shot to corporate revenue since the purchase of KMX. Unless they bring them all back and eat some serious salaries Magic will have lost HUGE revenue from the two biggest sources East of the Mississippi in two years.

Are they leaving to start a commune? You think I jest?

I know alot of people dont like Amie but her and KC have been number one for five years.

Awe come on Shady, they may be on air before the end of the week. Think it through dog, an entire air staff AND enough sales people to sell it..................hmmm. Goodness, where is there a 100K stick with virtually no air staff and no sales staff? To whom could the exitted go to inflict the most pain? From the clouds downtown to a flat in the burbs.

I have to say this is a sad day for market 192. For something to be so bad that the entire staff of 95.5 walks. What are the owners doing? Letting things get so bad that they loose an entire station. I do mean loose.....Not just the staff but the revenue that will go with them. All I can say is good Luck Amie, KC, Big Mike and Miss Elizabeth and you sales staff, I'm sure we will be hearing from you again. And to you, Magic Broadcasting....You better wake up and smell the rotten cabbage you have brewing in your own kitchen before you loose it all.
 
Let me first say I didn't know nothing about this until I read it on Rickey Stokes. Does anybody know why they did it. I myself have my least favorite dj and favorites like anybody else. Amie At times when i would meet her at times she was very sweet but most of the time she was veery rude. KC is one of themost kindest men you would ever want to meet. Big Mike is also very friendly. Mrs. Elizabeth She is rude and bossy . I knew her in high school she hasn't changed. i also like wild bill . Where is dave gilligan when we need him.

Revenue? All Amie knows how to do is Trade Trade Trade. It is a blessing for this whole entire Market that she is gone, KC ,Mike, and Miss Elizabeth I'm gonna miss ya'll.

You are probably right Stewy I just hope even though I know its not likely Don McCoy will take notice of what the people he has left in charge are doing.

I make it no secret I have a serious dis-like for Jeff Story just for the very fact he let me go on the word of the then Dir of Programing down in Panama City and his boy Dan the man who from what I understand spent more time at hunts drinking beer than in the office.

Mr McCoy you have some good hard working people that love the stations they work for. You have let your "management" run alot of good people off
like John Houston, BJ Kelly, Doug Wynn, Amie Pollard , KC, Big Mike, Miss Elizabeth the list goes on.

I suggest you take a good hard look at your upper management before you don't have a company left.

Correct if I'm wrong my fellow Colleagues but TVY is what keeps that cluster in the black as far as cash flow correct?
 
Without all those salaries, maybe they will finally hit budget!

It is far deeper than it looks, this has been brewing for sometime obviously, what a slap (deserved). I agree with Shady, the people that "board of directors" brought in to "do it better" couldn't. Now the "board" has to spin their excuses to the investors, the listeners, and the other employees who will suffer.
 
Karma isn't always quick but it does bite back...

I will not miss them why they are off sitting on their lazy rumps! KC is a fine man with great a talent, Big Mike also is a fine talent, Miss Elizabeth has what it takes to improve she just needs some coaching along the way. Amie I would much rather listen to my bark non stop then listen to Ms. Pollard. Yeas give them credit where credit is due as a station they have done many things for their community.

I see formats wheels already spinning in so many directions that I am dizzy!

Before we all sit here and bash the board of directors. First let applaud them! They let it happen and didn't stop them from walking that was the jocks choice! The board also made a point that they are running the sinking ship and Amie wasn't. It called doing their job. Now we can bash the board of directors cause they take pride in running a sinking ship, but it was sinking before this...

One more time...TVY became #1 because what the company did to their sister stations. It makes sense and has been admitted to on this boards by one of them. The management had no problem destroying their sister station to put another one on top. Bad logic but it works for them. There was no hard work or dedication just sitting back and enjoying the benefits of managment. If that is how you want to be #1 and support a so called #1 station then fine but we all the truth, its a sad story.
