Burk Arc-16 Factory Reset??

How does one perform a hard/factory reset? It does not specify in the manual.

Every light is lit. Power cycle does not clear it.
Thanks.

Thanks so much. I must have missed it but I went thru that manual a few times.

Thanks again.

If that doesn't work check voltages from the power supply regulators.
And if that fails, get a used Sine Systems RFC-1/B and never worry about failure again.

Touche. Had an ARC 16 sent back for repair (not my idea)--cost more than a new Sine. In fact, I rebuilt a lightning -struck Sine to use in its place while at the factory

A remote control system is just too mission critical for me to trust with an ARC-16. I've seen them do too many unpredictable things. Granted, the things were often fixed by power cycling the box but frankly, I wouldn't trust an ARC16 to control my garage door opener, much less a broadcast transmitter.

Glad you've had good luck with them Boise...maybe they just don't like our midwest t-storms. I've seen them non-responsive, only the even number channels work, all the lights flashing, transmitters randomly being turned off or on, once I saw the backup come on while the main was on with no one near the thing. Lightning and these things aren't a good combination.

And also the ARC-16 doesn't like Southeastern thunderstorms either. One reason why many a Sine remote control is in operation here in the South.
