The book may be available Aug 8th. Time now to make predictions. I leave those to others much more able to guess.

This will be the first WIZN book without Stern, correct?

This will be interesting.

Book came out today.

Adults 25 - 54

Try this again. :p

WOKO is still the big hitter in total audience in the Market. STAR without their Christmas Music came way down. Big winners were the BUZZ and MP 103. Big losers, the Sternless WIZN and Champ.

In the agency demanded demos of 25 to 54 WOKO, STAR, MP 103, Kool and The Buzz are super solid. When you look at Clinton County WOKO rules over there. In Chittenden County MP 103 is Top Dog.

I don't want to break any rules, but I can tell you I don't need a mulligan.

Adults 25 - 54 in Chittenden County only MP 103 is several points clear of the pack. As unbelievable as it may seem, it's true. In Adults 12+ WOKO comes back to get them, but not by much.

Actually, I can't say that I'm surprised by that, northcountry. I looked at MP's music log from yesterday, and they play quite a few tunes that you would never hear on any other station in town. Their success proves how stale Burlington radio really is. Makes me yearn for the WIZN of 10-15 years ago.

any hope for Kiss 92.1??

Yeah...

1) Switch frequencies to 96.7. I was driving on Lakeshore Drive 2 weeks ago (what happened to Edgewater Pub, anyway? I worked with a guy who frequented the place...he must be torn...), and the reception on 92.1 was staticy. Can't serve the market with that signal.

2) Syndicate Elvis Duran & The Morning Zoo. That's not a stab at the talents of Jag, whose show I haven't heard (will they stream like other CC/Burlington stations?) But why is Kiss letting their primary competitor beat them with a show based on material stolen from one of their company's own stations? No matter how quickly Triple X can get a phone scam on the air, it remains impossible for them to steal it if Kiss broadcasts it live for the first time as it airs on Z100.

Any move that unseats Ben Hamilton is okay in my book. Say what you will about him as a programmer, but as an individual through my experience, he is an arse and a half.

WOKO, STAR, MP3 AND THE BUZZ. KOOL DID NOT HAVE A GOOD BOOK.
CHAMP MADE GAINS TO MOVE #3 MEN AND #2 IN MORNING DRIVE 35-54. That is the demo for classic rock

Yes OKO is still King but only because of the New York county numbers
KOOL had an ok book but nothing to write home about. Not in the top 3 anywhere

WXXX contiunes it's downward trend except for Males 25-54. I guess some of the Howard folks went down the dial for the Very Blue Mike and Chantel

MP 103 lost Men and it would have been worse if they didn't have a good 18-24 year old increase. Woman make up the difference and more. Expect all those woman to go away during the fall especially when the XMAS tunes kick in at Star
Men are beginning to get board with the format.

Star had a great book for none Christmas. Best spring book in 5 years.
Champ is 2nd or 3rd with Men 35-54 in several different dayparts including C and C in the morning.

WIZN is the overall winner for biggest drop off. Bob and Tom have the lowest rated daypart on the station and it doesn't get much better after that. The Buzz had a good book

What Happened To 95 Triple X Nights and Afternoons?

I would have to agree. I have only heard about him, but what you say falls in line with things I have heard. I also think the station has been moving downward also.

1) they had a really decent night guy on there. Kannon. This kid was not amazing, but he was a good jock. He kept the music moving, he wasn't annoying, he was smooth, and in all honesty brought nights back to sounding as they did when Sweet Pete was running the show. He did not shy away from being blunt and real. So this kid leaves. But the part I do not understand...who does ben put on nights to replace a strong show? A guy who was let go by Clear Channel Burlington??? He had been doing their morning show; Jag. If Clear Channel Burlington lets go of someone, you know they have to be terrible. You can even read blogs from his former superior, Corm. No one in that building liked the kid and somehow he made it onto 95 Triple X? What happened to Kannon?

2) Does anyone know what happened to Melissa Moran? I enjoyed her show. It was a nice change of pace from JT. She came with a lot of prep, and a great sense of humor. Why is she no longer at 95 Triple X?
