Burlington report card

I don't see the Professor around, so the teaching assistant will have to take a crack this month. I didn't have much time for listening between the beach and the bars, but here's what I didn't like:

Hey Champ, if you're going to run attack promos against the Wizard's jocks talking over the music, try not to make it a :30 promo that interrupts a music sweep. Pot, kettle. Also, it's great that "rock isn't defined by a decade", but you could have told us that in a different promo.

Also, Triple X, the music image promos before the stopset don't need to be :30 either. "95 Triple X is Burlington and Plattsburgh's hit music station" can easily be said in 4 seconds. Play the song clips and be done with it. Oh, and those Saturday nights sound great too. An old man droning on about nothing and running a sloppy board? Compelling. Heard plenty of Jag, though...he's sharp as a tack, and great at interacting with the audience. He works in a club on Saturday nights. Make that the Saturday night show.

Kool 105...congratulations on being the first station ever in Burlington to play "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet." Oh, wait.

I didn't really listen to anybody else, so I'll just check their streams when I feel like it. That's why I made sure to listen to the X when I was up there. ;D
