The Burlington Plattsburgh #’s have been out for a few weeks so without getting real specific, here’s what I can tell you. WOKO is still the overall leader but they lost several shares in some key demos.

IZN Up 12 plus, Persons 18-34 and Men 25-54
Triple X Up in Adults and Women although the night show had a double digit drop.

OKO suffers major drop off in women.
Kool did not have a good book at all.
Champlain Radio group. When will they realize that the all music format doesn’t work anymore? Did they ever hear of IPods, Pandora or Satellite radio?

How the mighty have fallen.
What happened to Ken Barlow and his so called magic touch? This cluster of stations continues its spiral downward. VOX should just shut off the power for Champ, XZO and EAV. They are hovering around or below The Three Dog night loneliest number. Champ had its worst book ever. The DOT experiment is a major failure. Star had an OK book but only because of Midday’s and 12-17 year olds. It’s becoming very clear that Jeff Shapiro really was the brains behind Vox.

I'm not surprised. A dozen FM's in town, and they're the only ones with the clue that people still like 70's classic rock.

Why do they think that they'll win playing the inferior rock of the 90's and 2000's? I laugh at the "rock isn't defined by a decade" sweepers. Of course it is. The production and attitude has changed over the years. And that applies to all genres and styles of music.
 
Wait, teens are carrying Star? What the hell is going on there? Maybe the lack of diversity (but not quality) in pop music is keeping them away from the X. They must really love "Hey, Soul Sister" and "Breakeven" up there.

The 12-17 demo is under represented in terms of diaries on the street (each one carries more weight than let's say each individual diary in the 25-54 range). Parents of these 12-17 year olds are probably listening to Star with the kids in the car, giving Star a boost in that demo. That is really the only explanation.
 
BS Boy sure does have a hair across his a** when it comes to Vox. He never passes up an opportunity to knock them. It's almost like he was fired by them once. Perhaps a couple of years ago when he was the PD who had an "also ran" morning show on Champ and that station's numbers were in the tank and had been for a few years??? It was because of that PD Vox inherited a Champ that needed to be completely revamped. The station was #8 all week and #9 in AM Drive with Corm and the Coach. Vox has just been trying to fix the mess they were left with by that PD and cluster OM. They'll get it. And by the way...they may have fallen a bit Mr. Corm...uh, I mean BS Boy...but at least they're still can play the game. Excuse me, I have to go shopping at Dick's now.
 
You keep taking guesses Slugger, but you are now 0-2. The bottom line, Corm has been away for several books and has nothing to do with the current demise of Vox. By the way, 8th place is far better than 20th. Barlow has done nothing on his own without Shapiro. His track record including this go around is pitiful. That is all on your BB Mr. B. Not sure what Dicks has to do with this but you keep spewing your hate.
