BUSH's Speech Not on WFSB, Again and a comment about WTNH's coverage

Not that I care what that blow-hard president has to say, but I was just curious why WFSB hasn't carried any of Bush's Speech that take place during the 10AM hour? Over the last month or two Bush has made several speech's during the 10AM hour, but WFSB always carried Dr. Phil instead. Is CBS not carrying the speech or is Merideth Broadcasting anti-Bush?

Secondly why can't WTNH air that blow-hard's speech on MY TV 9 instead of pre-empting Rachael Ray? The only thing on MY TV 9 between 9:30AM and 12Noon is those phoney religious blow-hards - Joyce Mayer, Kenneth & Gloria Copeland, and Benny Hinn and infomercials. They can carry the speech from ABC and then stick the stupid religious crap on instead of one of the infomercials at 11AM or 11:30.

I think it's a network decision in this case, not locally.

Maybe CBS hates Bush. I'm sure they've got their reasons.

It's my understanding that Bush sends out an agenda of what the conference will cover and each station or network makes the call whether or not to cover it.

I can see both sides to this. It's meaningless to carry it if other stations are carrying it. Especially in a cable heavy TV market, but on the other hand TV broadcasters SHOULD care about informing their audience. Whether or not you like Bush he is the president, and since everyone has a bias it's better to watch him and make up your own mind then to rely on someone else's telling of what he said.
