There's a show they carry Saturday mornings called "Home And Garden Radio" with Michael Crose. It's been on nearly 20 years across the old Sun Radio Network, UBN, PRN and IE America.

has anyone else ever heard it? What do you think??

WCFO 1160 Atlanta signed on with the Business Talk network a few weeks ago. They air this show form 7-8AM.

The home and garden authority in Atlanta on Saturdays is WSB. Walter Reeves, retired University of Georgia instructor, hosts his show from 6-10AM, many times on live remote. He also hosts a show on Georgia Public Broadcasting TV called "Gardening in Georgia", which is currently in reruns. After that, Dave Baker hosts the "Home Fix-It" show from 10AM-Noon.

If there are any home and garden shows in Atlanta not on WSB, no one knows about them.

I've not heard it, but I do listen to another BTR program every week (though it's off for the summer??!?) and that's Sci-Fi Overdrive. (a bit too much Dr. Who though). I'm on staff at a local "multi-genre" convention dealing with Sci-Fi, Gaming & Anime (I'm in the anime dept. and I do sound during main events) and this show has helped fill-in some of the gaps when it comes to the more geekier stuff that I've somehow missed over the years.

I don't think I've actually mentioned much about the convention (maybe once or twice, and kept the promotion part of it very low-key)

There is a picture (or two) of me running the sound board during the 2005 convention (don't ask me what that weird look was on my face) in a video of the con....

I'm about 3:04 and 3:07 in the video.

So, we finally get to see what the infmaous DJKraze looks like, huh? :) muwahaha

It is carried on no stations within 50 miles of my home. Therefore, I haven't heard it.

"That's not a problem"

Yes, it is. I usually listen to the radio while driving in my car. The description of the programming on that network doesn't make it sound compelling enough to make me want to put it on while I'm working on my home computer, though I wouldn't mind spending a few minutes sampling it while drive to work or the grocery store.

"dump it to your favorite mp3 capable portable and bring it with you."

That presupposed that I've purchased that particular toy, and that I want to spend the time it would take to listen to the program. For an Evelyn Woods graduate, reading books and articles doesn't take that much time, but it take an hour out of a person's life to listen to an hour long radio show. The show's description has make it seem interesting enough to justify spending an hour before I'll go out of my way to spend an hour.
