But...where's Bingo?

I thought ABC had plans to give Bingo a second run as early as the first Friday in October, but it's now November and I don't see any sign of the show returning...

Ratings were a disaster anyway, but ABC seemed to be very clear on the message that this show had to air ASAP in the fall to better the visits to their internet site.

Are you sure?

If you try to become a contestant the link takes you to a new show called Wanna bet?

Yeah I wanna bet. I'll bet that Bingo isn't coming back. What a load of crap that show was!

While plans can always change, ABC did renew Bingo for a five night run despite the spectacularly bad ratings---because, as mentioned elsewhere, it did big numbers for their Web site.

5 night or 5 week? Friday nights? or New time slot?

Renewal is great but meaningless when it is now November and no sign of it's return...unless it was intended to air in January...?

It was announced as a five-night (consecutive) stunt, a la the original way Millionaire was run, scheculed to be close to Christmas time, when repeats would have dominated the schedule regardless of the writers' strike.
