Butch Goes to Boston?

Boston Anyone?

"The Columbia promotions department also paid for a trip to Boston for programmers at WWHT, a Clear Channel station in Syracuse. These deals were negotiated by former Vice President of Top 40 Promotion at Columbia to secure airplay of Columbia music. When asked about these transactions under oath, the former Vice President of Top 40 Promotion at Columbia, who had then left the company, asserted his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination"

See pages 11-12.

Also,

"8/29 $640 Syracuse State Fair – Destiny’s Child tickets for WWHT to confirm Kandi, Destiny’s Add"

See the "wh0re" comment on page 2. I think Spitzer needs some new interns. The document is riddled of easily identifiable, confidential things... They didn't catch all the e-mail addresses, and it's pretty apparent who made the "wh0re" comment.

I thought I'd spell it "wh0re" as not to trip the censorship Nazi's. Geesh! Have you ever typed the word "wh0re" here? It shows up as "(BLEEP)"!!!
Edited by jay on 07/26/05 12:26 PM.

Yeah GENIUS... Where are you, guy? Not gonna chime here? And you know that WWHT is not the only station with issues. Once the feds start examining other formats, you'll have more problems. I've been hearing rumors about other inpropriaties for quite a while. C'mon GENIUS, weigh in here. Or did Rich tell you to keep your clueless self off the board regarding the subject.

For those looking for an easier, quicker explanation, that means GUILTY. Who wants to bet a donut all these people end up at another label within a month, unless they are actually indicted.

Wow... Syracuse is now a state I guess. I don't know how anyone can spend $640 on anything at the State Fair, unless it's for a Prada bag to carry all the literature they hand out there. If this were Watertown, I suppose they would have gotten $250, a McDonalds coupon book for free fries and a Greyhound ticket to the Corning Glass Museum. Some people don't know how to work it like Dave Universal did.

Hey, Dave was a GENIUS!

> Some people don't know how to work it like Dave Universal did.

Hold on there, Damp. Dave Universal got more swag because he was a genius! He could pick hit records better than anybody!! It's almost like he had a direct pipeline to record companies and knew which records they were going to dedicate the most promotional muscle/dollars to...
