"Butters"

sad to note that "Butters" has passed on ... Paul Rideout left us far too early owing to some recurring health concerns over the past few years. He was abrupt, coarse and at times, a bit rude. But he was always willing to listen to a differing point of view. and he was, like many of us, a kid fascinated by radio. Rest easy, Paul.

I see that donations are to be made to the American Lung Association.

Did Paul have COPD? (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)

too young. Paul worked for me briefly in 1992 during the last gasp of 1590 WASY. I remember him as a very enthusiastic radio geek!
