Butts, Bob out at KMXD

the lasted what, about a year? That's about par for KMXD.

Any word on a flip coming?

That was pretty much the bulk of their staff. Or are they just cleaning house for better talent?

EWWWWWW Mike Butts!!!!! We had him back in Charlotte back in the early 90's and he was about as entertaining as listing to white noise... Maybe they will get you guys some good morning radio... CC

Their website doesn't list any personalities (jocks) anymore as of 4-7. My question is (no pun intended) is that back last April...Why wasn't "The BUS" put on 100.3 and KDRB "106.3 The Beat" left alone? I just don't get that. Maybe they thought they could still improve KMXD!?!?!?

Or, some people's theory is true...CC wanted to make sure Citadel didn't flip 97.3 or 98.3 to CHR at that time, therefore they threw together "The Beat" until that threat subsided.

It would be interesting to see a flip, since 100.3 has been AC of some sort since the early/mid 1980s.

KMXD is going jockless. For now the midday girl that VT's will stay.
Mike Butts partner left 30 days prior to this fire from CC. I guess he's hard to work with.

The Beat had ratings, but not revenue.
 
That couldn't be too hard...those two guys were not good at all.
