Buzz Brainard - The Sound

On Tue Jul 01, 2008
Buzz Brainard was on 100.3 the sound after the 8 o'clock hour

Buzz's passion is the rock genre so he fit right in there on The Sound!

Not sure who Buzz is? ...
He was a radio personality on KZLA from 2000-2005 when he was one of the 1st with a contract the station did not renew in preporation for the flip to a new genre of music. Buzz hosted the syndicated radio program Altville playing alternative country music, he has a show on Sirius Satellite Radio entitled "Y'Allternative" on Sirius New Country.

He is also an actor...
"What's the Word?" (2006) TV series
"The Wild Thornberrys" (1 Episode)
"Night Man" (2 episodes)
Face/Off (1997) Dispatcher
Runaway Car (1997)
"One West Waikiki"(1 episode)
The Net (1995)
"Sonic the Hedgehog" Rotor (13 episodes)
Clear and Present Danger (1994)
A Place for Annie (1994)
Homefront (1 episode)
Parting Glances (1986)

He is Co-host of For The Love of Music, has been a Narrator for "Maximum Exposure" "This Week in Baseball" and "Breed All About It" as well as an Announcer for Disney Channel since 1999 , and Promo voice for the"FRIENDS" syndication package.

I truly hope The Sound will bring him in to do mornings on the station, He would in my opinion be a TRUE asset to the station and bring in listeners that know him from KZLA or the MANY other things he has done in his career!

Tuesday night was a blessing to have Buzz coming across my radio airwaves, THANK YOU to The Sound... Great Station, Great Music!

I hope not... No offense, but I just don't hear it. Sounds way too commercial for the Sound.

He did A great job on Tuesday night, I think that he has the talent, the love for the genre etc. He would be an asset to them.... just my opinion as someone who only tuned in to this station after hearing a familiar voice would be on it...
