Buzz Brindle was A.P.D. and jock on WNBC radio in N.Y.C. in the late 70's and early 80's. Always seemed like a nice guy. Does anybody know if he is still in the business and where he is?

Buzz is a great guy, a true gentleman. I first met him at WNBC back in 1978, when I was 18 years old. He gave me a tour of the station snd we talked about my aspirations to work in the industry. After that, I would visit him on occasion and we would "do lunch" (Bob Pittman even joined us one time). He was always very gracious with his time. Although it would be many, many years before I actually did get into the business, I never forgot Buzz.
In early 2006, I was reaching out to PD/MD/OM's to solicit my new syndicated radio show. I found Buzz's e-mail address and dropped him a line to thank him for taking time to hang with a young "wanna-be" like me way back when and asked him to listen to my show's aircheck. He did, thanking me for remembering him and offered a very professional and constructive critique that I took heed of in the future production of the show, in addition to some great info on what stations I should market the show to.
He's still working in the upstate NY market. If you're interested in getting in touch with him, this is the e-mail address I found him at: [email protected]
