Buzz Brindle

As of September of this year Buzz remains out of radio and personally I think the industry is poorer by his absence.

Buzz has been a friend and mentor throughout my career and I agree with all the others from the 2007 query on him. Buzz is simply the best.

Why...and what happened?

I've always had a great deal of respect for Buzz. But I haven't kept up with his career in recent years.

I'm flattered by the entries above. To answer Don's question, Regent Communications' Albany cluster "restructured" in April 2007 and I left the company. Due to several family considerations, it be difficult to relocate to another market at this time and there haven't been many broadcast radio opportunities in this market for the past several years. Consequently, I've created my Brindle Media d/b/a which serves as an umbrella for various projects. Specifically, I'm very interested in the growing use of audio & video in social media and in the impending incorporation of internet service into the dashboard of most new cars. It wouldn't surprise me if the next "radio" stars come from the world of podcasting.

So...did I hear another Buzz Brindle on one of XM's Country channels this morning?
