Very sad news. He was always very nice to me when I first started at the old KDWN in 1998. A sweet man and a great broadcaster. He'll be missed.

I'm really sorry to hear about Buzz. A reallly nice guy and a true pro.

I remember sitting at a table with him at a Nevada Broadcasters dinner.
The food arrived, Buzz looked at it and asked if anyone had a hamburger.

He did leave his mark on this city (no pun intended.)

Thanks Jerry. I can just hear him say that too!

That is sad news, my condolences to you and your family, Marc. We've lost a piece of Las Vegas Radio History with Buzz's passing.

I remember meeting him when I was in high school, it was 1970 and Buzz was the PD of KORK AM/FM in their then-new studios on Sandhill Road. I was there getting course credit for Independent Study and Buzz walked into the production room where I was "playing radio" on a Sunday night. To him I was some high school kid playing with the equipment unsupervised, but when I explained why I was there he had no problem with my being there learning the ropes--apparently no one had told him of the station's "Independent Studies" program.

Thanks George.

I too spent time with my dad on the weekends in that same production room that was next door to his office in the studios on Sandhill Road. Those were good memories.
