Buzzin back to the 80s (again):)

Well folks,

It is Friday and 941 the BUZZ has agian rolled out the all 80s weekend for the second week in a row. 2 more days of non-stop, great 80s tunes! Saddly I have not had a chance to listen due to a busy schedule, but if any one else has, please share your thoughts and what you have heard on the 941 frequency this weekend...(BTW, let's be mature about this and not start any crap about bad formats, format flips, what they should be doing, etc. Not saying people won't adhere to the request, but we've all seen that happen on these boards before...)

Even simpler, it's pointless.

The Buzz should NEVER be playing things like "Little Lies" or "Hold On To The Nights", like I heard last night...it's not any fun. They sound like WRVR, and so very anti-Buzz.

They need to be filling the void that FM100 has left with "Whatever", rather than trying to counter-program with something similar. They've just validated what FM 100 is doing. Say what you want about the subtle diffences in music, but the audience in general sees no difference in this.

Gonna be a very ugly 2006 on Ridgeway...anyone with basic radio experience would tend to agree with this assessment. Phase 1 of Fall was brutal for WMBZ, and it might not get any better. I'm shocked that they haven't "Charlie"'d, or "Wolf"'ed it yet.
