Bye-Bye 'BT?

Did I hear correctly? Conservative Talk out at 'BT? How is that going to work?

Maybe it's just until the Democratic Convention leaves town. We all know how divisive conservative talk can be, don't we?

So are they dropping Keith Larson again? It was only recently that they had worked out an arrangement for him to stay, after previously planning to drop his program. Does he still have a show?

The story is full of misinformation. Jason Lewis was never carried live on BT. He was live on WBCN 1660. They did axe Vince Coakley in July and replace him with Brad & Britt, but that's because of revenue. Nothing more.

Jason Lewis was live on BT afternoons before Tara. Not sure they 'ousted' him though. I think he left on his own to go back to Minneapolis...

Yes, he was live on BT but that was when he was local not nationally syndicated.

BTW, it was before Jeff Katz, then Tara, then Vince Coakley.

But after Spires and Krantz.

After I posted WND's story this morning, I went to 'BT's website, and heard Keith doing a superb show from the Democrat National "Cluster"....(Funny! :D)

All I can say is that I was so surprised at reading about a decision I considered as a HUGE PROGRAMMING ERROR....That I didn't vett this story before I asked about it here.

My sincere apologies to Keith Larson....one of America's important Conservative Voices.

If you're going to take stories and run with them without vetting them first, you'll probably be burned less often taking them from The Onion than from We're Nuts Daily.

Again....My sincere apologies 'Tron, and Steve....

Please note that I contacted WND, and let them know they blew the story.

The website also still shows Jason Lewis syndicated show as running nightly from 9 - midnight.

I believe they pre-empted Jason during the "Cluster" for local programming giving more convention coverage.

If he's not back on tonight I suspect he will be on Monday.

Glad to hear Keith Larson is still there. And I enjoyed the Brad and Britt show from the DNC last week. But more of a light-hearted look rather than serious political commentary or criticism. They interviewed various personalities in attendance, including Larry Sprinkle from WCNC. Who apparently made the talk show rounds, including WBAL from Baltimore. But not quite sure how the TV weatherman from 36 became such a political commentator. But always a good vibe from Larry ... And heard a repeat of Sean Hannity on WSB broadcasting from some secret location in Charlotte, where ever that may have been. Not such a positive vibe there, at least politically speaking. More of a typical conservative critique of the politics of the Democratic party.
