(found in the Boston thread, tracked back to Mark Williams' web site on his blog) As of tonight, Jon Grayson out of KMOX. 'BZ, WCCO and KDKA complete the four Heritage talkers now in wholesale retreat.

I take your point, MT1, with one notation--I would not say that KMOX is in wholesale retreat, simply because Grayson is hosting the show--and his persona is well-established on KMOX and in St. Louis.

But with all due respect to Grayson, it's not exactly a jubilant moment for the radio industry--of course there haven't been many of those moments in radio for awhile now.
 
Jon may be established in St. L but his show is no longer a MO program, it is geared toward national. KMOX may as well carry Art Bell for all the local content Grayson will now have.
