Christian-formatted CJYE-1250 Oakville, and multilingual CJMR-1320 Mississauga left AM to go to streaming online. The Joy website does say that they will go "FM HD" later this year. HD subchannel or a new FM station coming?

There's no new FM station coming. The plan, as disclosed to the CRTC when Whiteoaks bought the Bell stations, is to use HD subchannels on CKLH 102.9 from Hamilton.

An interesting move. If they are not on AM or FM, but still on an HD, do they still have to worry about Can Con?

Correct. The CRTC considers them "experimental" and are hands-off.
