Bye Bye Fish

They're having problems with the transition, last I checked WFFH was off and WFFI/WBOZ were playing K-Love at 3/4 speed.
Now things are straightened out...WFFH has a temp playlist that's Air 1 slanted, and WFFI/WBOZ are playing K-Love crystal clear

So WFFI will be KLOVE? Seems like that area is covered well by WLVU’s 60dbu. I can see putting KLOVE on WBOZ, but Air1 on WFFH/WFFI seems to make more sense.

I'd rather see Boost come to at least one signal, either the 92.5 translator or the 100.3 translator

I got to hear Boost in Chicago, really liked it....it's what Air 1 used to be somewhat.

WFFI, WBOZ, WLVU and W262CN (100.3)/Hendersonville are K-Love. WFFH is something called Worship. Never heard of it.
W223BV/Brentwood (92.5) continues as Air1. There's a lot of signal overlap with W262CN, WFFI and WLVU. I'd bet they aren't done yet.

I believe they said Air1 will be on WFFH and WFFI. K-LOVE on WBOZ. Guessing it's a technical thing. Neither WFFH or WFFI are on either of the websites. WBOZ is listed on the K-LOVE site, and the station in Hawaii on the Air1 site. They don't usually list them until they are on the air.

The Air 1 website has added the 94.1 WFFH signal to its site but 93.7 WFFI is not. Still Shows the 92.5 translator with Air 1 also. is anyone in music city that can verify?

94.1 WFFH is Air 1, but it's doing its own thing complete with its own imaging. I'm assuming 92.5, which is still Air1, is getting the same feed as the rest of the Air1 stations in the US. Both 92.5 and 94.1 have Air1 in RDBS and in imaging. WFFI is still the same K-Love as 97.1, 104.9 and 100.3.

The air 1 site still does list 94.1 92.5 and 97.1 HD2 , is that right. The 93.7 signal is not on either site. i wonder the reason 93.7 does not air 1. im confused.

The pledge drive they are finishing tonight might have something to do with it. They probably don't want to launch and then go right into a pledge drive and make people tune out.

That's probably why 94.1 is doing its own thing. Still Air1, but a different feed or something set up in-house. Once they finish the marathon, it might switch to the national feed.

They may have plans for 93.7 that aren't being released. For right now, it's K-Love.

Radio insight just reported that emf made announcements for Nashville but no final plan has arrived for 93.7. I wonder the holdup
Boost 93.7 I hope...

I assume they want to get as many people listening to the right frequencies as possible if they make any major changes. Air1 with 10,000 Songs in a Row is how the Contemporary Worship format launched when they flipped to it in 2019. That seems more like they're getting the signal ready for network.

I would think if they change 93.7, it might stunt telling people to change to 97.1 for a period of time. I wonder if they found some research that more people were listening to The Fish on 93.7 than they were 94.1. They obviously would want them to switch over to 97.1, and delaying any changes would give them more time to get used to it

I would assume that's coming, I guess EMF is happy with the current Air 1 setup in the market with 94.1 & the 92.5 translator. But KLOVE still has two very similar signals to west in MEmphis with no spin off. This is similar to what they did when they bought two fms in MSP by making the strongest Air 1 and spinning off the class A to someone else leaving K Love only on translators.

They probably just had to take both if they wanted one. That's what happened with WPFF and WNLI in Sturgeon Bay. They just wanted 90.5 for K-LOVE but they had to take 88.5 with it. They ran Air1 on it for awhile and sold it to another Christian broadcaster. Their lone Air1 signal in Wisconsin for many years was one of WNLI's former translators. They still have it relaying KHRI.
