Yeah, so much for the "research" Toby Knapp was doing about the Providence market (as alluded to in a previous post in this thread). The only local mention - besides the station's name and branding - is the local forecast. Otherwise, I doubt that Mr. Knapp has ever been to Providence. Having heard his voicetracked show on Dallas's Kiss, he does a much better job talking about local goings on. Perhaps he has been to Dallas?

CC has a station in Las Vegas called "Sunny 106.5 FM" with the call letters KSNE-FM. Why didn't they branded Sunny in the first place i hate that imaging lady saying Coast 933 CC you should get rid of that voice & branding. It makes me wanna turn off the radio.
 
Yes that woman's sound is awful. Her imaging is on other CC stations as well. I'm guessing Toby is told what to say. In fairness, he'd probably do very well if he was here and in the building.

Their music is actually ok, they are now cloning WBMX Mix 104.1 as far as I'm concerned but without any personality. I believe Tyler was PD at Kiss Boston so he must be cloning Mix based on that.

Actually, WSNE is fed Premium Choice programming. While the logs don't match up perfect anymore, their playlist is nearly identical to KGBY Sacramento, CA. KALZ-FM Fresno used to be identical, but now appears to be marching to the beat of its own drum.

Holland Cooke could probably refine some dates for me because it was around his era at WSNE, but the station went by "Sunny 93.3 WSNE" around 1984 when Holland left for WTOP and the station was sold by Outlet.

While it fit the calls, I'm fairly certain the WSNE calls were chosen for "Southern New England." They pre-dated any "Sunny" branding by about four years.

That would be the legendary Kelly Kelly Kelly. She's the female voice of Z100 New York, B96 Chicago, Q102 Philadelphia, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, and a ton of other stations. She's also got chops as the Imaging Director of KIIS-FM Los Angeles and 98-7 KYSR Los Angeles.

I love her voice on KIIS-FM and Z100, but the way she reads and is processed on WSNE drives me nuts. I can't stand it. She's a very talented producer and voice over artist, just not on WSNE.

I haven't heard this Toby Knapp, but by chance, does this happen to be T.J. Napp, former evening jock from 92 PRO-FM back in the 90s?

Kiss 108 doesn't use her voice it's Dave Foxx and some lady that works for CC. Also B96 drop the Kelly Kelly Kelly voice and wen't with a asian lady that works at KROQ.

Toby is not TJ Napp. Their voices have crossed paths. I believe that TJ Napp's last radio job was at Y100/Miami, where he went by "Tony Banks." Toby Knapp has done shifts at Y100; however, I would bet that all were voicetracked from out of market. Toby Knapp has also referenced his supposed real full name as "Tobias Knapp III."
 
Gotcha. Not TJ Napp. And I could have sworn that the female liner voice on Kiss 108 was the same one that's on 93.3, and Z100/New York, and others. Most of Kiss 108's liners and promos are read by a male voice, but they do occasionally sprinkle in a female voice. They do sound quite similar.

No!!!!!! Its first Dave Foxx and then the lady says the artist/name of a song. I'm listen to Kiss 108 and i don't hear Kelly Kelly Kelly. Probably your confusing Kiss 108 with Z100?
