Let's sort through some facts. Forget his style or whether you like him on air. He thought the format up and gave Gary all the boundaries to do maintaince...(think "Jan Jeffries does delegation" ) cause at the end of the day, Scott, as a VP of Citadel and morning host of WPLJ has more to do than schedule music. I'm amazed he gets done all he does.
He's stayed employed back to back for decades by reinventing himself, and his NY numbers are sure stronger than Leslie Fram's folks.
TOC filled a void in many markets and if anybody thinks a younger sound like Good times Great oldies will work...THIS time..they're wrong.
If any thinks the River is "vulnerable" never underestimate the marketing strength and research of Cox. I don't get their success either. But it's consistant.
Fact the most listened to channel with baby boomers on XM is the 60s channel? Why?
