Are broadcasters really still using C-band for domestic syndication, program distribution? I see a listing for "Westwood One XDS Satellite Platform" and the ATX Pro satellite receiver series which serve to receive files of audio content or live streams.
With the reduced spectrum thanks to re-farming there's a lot less TV/radio providers feeding cable head-ends. It's not like the old days of SCPC analog.
I just need to know should I junk a perfectly good C-band dish?
