Why doesn't one exist? WMMS is a CC run station, and it sounds good. Bo Matthews doing a great job at The Buzzard. No Columbus rocker is even close to WMMS in image, playlist, talent or promotions. BUT a station in C-Bus COULD be up there with 'EBN and/or MMS.<P ID="signature">______________

I don't listen to rock so I am not sure what the difference is but isn't WAZU or WBZX pretty much what WEBN and WMMS offer? For that matter WLVQ too? People are always saying Columbus needs a Rock station.. I guess I don't know what is missing from what we have. Input?

Check the ratings, bro... WEBN is doing some respectable numbers while WMMS is a shadow of its former self. If a radio station wants to aspire to something, it should aspire to what WMMS was 15-20 years ago. Right now, the Buzzardd is on life-support.

WMMS does well in it's target P18-34

WEBN is, arguably, the best mainstream rocker between the Mississippi and and the East Coast. Not too many others have the bigger than life promotions, imaging, revenue, and numbers. And have done so consistently over the years with different air staphs and PD's.

Yes, If you count being #5 as "doing well."

I agree with you here. My point, somewhat poorly stated is that if you were going to aspire to one of those stations' status, it should be WEBN.
