I'm listening to the rally being broadcast live during Dennis' show and at one point, the crowd starting shouting, "Bulls**t" - & it just happened again! I'm shocked that management is allowing it to go out over the air. Wouldn't it be logical for the board op to have his finger on the dump button during a stripper rally? It's not exactly a gathering of the social elite.

Also, did the reading of the names of NJ soldiers killed in Iraq make anyone else uncomfortable? It just seemed seedy to do that and follow it with the introduction of the owner of a strip club. I understand that they're making it a rights issue, but when you include stripper poles, and call it the 100 Stripper March, it doesn't lend itself to a civics event.

Are people really gonna complain about hearing a crowd in the background chanting the word "bullshit?" And how would a dump button help? If you dump every word in the chant, you'll be left with dead air and you'll run outta lead time mighty quick! :)

If anything, I'm surprised that NJ101.5 let the reading of the dead soldiers names go over the air!

What's with calling it "Dennis' show?" Is Judi not there?

Sorry for referring to it as Dennis' show. Judi is out this week.

I would never complain about something like that, but you know that people will complain about anything now a days. I just thought that it would be a given that there was going to be f-bombs, etc. considering the crowd. I'm just surprised that management didn't think about that.

And as far as the dump button: the 2 incidents were about 25 minutes apart. If the dump had been hit, the "offensive"(?) word would have been dumped each time.

Oh! I thought they were chanting it over and over again in the background while something else was being broadcast in the foreground. Ahh, what do I know? I haven't listened to the station in ages. (Except for punching between them an KYW on my way home during November's election coverage.)

Anytime you acknowledge fallen heros it's a good thing and better than them being forgotten. I work in a newsroom and this reminds me of a person yelling at the V.P. blank you during a live broadcast. There is really nothing you can do about this and it actually becomes a news event. It was the public expressing their right to free speech live and public with a NJ radio station covering it.

"Bullshit" and "(BLEEP)" go out all the time during sports events on nationally televised games. As someone already pointed out, you can't exactly dump out of a chant without running out of dump and getting into a world of other problems.

Oh wow. Get OVER yourself. I've got a couple of friends who are soldiers - one of whom is a West Point graduate and one of whom is my FATHER - who would be inclined to disagree. Most of the men who fight and put their lives on the line for this country will ALWAYS be appreciative of the finer attributes of an exotic dancer.

The word was said only twice at a clip & could have easily been dumped. You were there, so I'm sure you heard it.

Why the attitude? I just said it made me uncomfortable, that's all. I'm sorry that you took that as disparaging your colleagues. I'm not getting in to a pissing match with you over whether it was right or wrong. I was just voicing my opinion - seems I hit a nerve.
