Cable System History Question San Antonio, Tx

Before Time Warner San Antonio, there was Paragon Cable, followed by Rogers Cablevision.

I was wanting to know:

1. When did Cable Television first debut in San Antonio?
2. Was it called Rogers or another company?

I heard Storer Communications owned KENS-AM and TV, but did they own the cable system in San Antonio before Rogers?

There was a company called Bexar Cable in the early 80's not sure if they serviced San Antonio proper though......

It was United Artists Columbia Cablevision, according to the Bexar County District Clerk's Online Civil Litigant Inquiry in which Rogers Cable was listed as a Defendant in:

1983CI15702

ROGERS CABLEVISION INC AKA

DEFENDANT

RAY DORIA DBA E PARK
vs UA COLUMBIA CABLEVISION

057

09/28/1983

AGREEMENT

DISPOSED

I will be doing some more research on when the Cable TV service was rolled out to San Antonio.

Going to hit up the Courthouse to pull some files on this next week!!! Also will be verifying it with the COLES directory in the law library.

Bexar Cable might have been CableMaxx, or some offering in the outskirts of San Antonio proper.
