Cable Systems that Actually Have at least 1,000 Channels (SD & HD combined)

We all know that Comcast is planning a "national" channel lineup in some areas that will include all HD channels in the 1000s range (SD Channel # + 1000) and international channels in the 2000s, but are there any cable systems (not counting satellite lineups) that actually do have at least 1000 channels total (SD and HD combined, including all the music choice and PPV channels too) right now? I have Comcast here in Springfield and my best guesstimate of the total number of SD and HD here is probably somewhere around 600-700 total channels at this time.

Are there any cable lineups out there that indeed do have over 1000 total channels (excluding channel number gaps)?
