Cable systems that cross market lines

I had to look up Magoffin County. I now see it's in eastern Kentucky. Not an obvious county name like Hartford (CT), Albany (NY) or Providence (RI)! Boston, of course, is...not Boston County, but Suffolk!

Here in Minnesota we a few examples like the Boston one
Blue Earth is not in Blue Earth County (its about 25 miles away)...its in Faribault County
Faribault is not in Faribault County...its in Rice County (85 miles away)
Rice is not in Rice County...its in Benton County (130 miles away) :D

SCI Broadband Hill City, MN (Aitkin County - Minneapolis/St. Paul DMA), which also serves Warba and Pengilly (both Itasca County - Duluth/Superior DMA) carries the Duluth Big 4 + PBS in HD: http://www.scibroadband.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Hill-City-Pengilly-2020.pdf
SD adds CBS, ION, and one PBS (KAWE) from Minneapolis/St. Paul as well as CW and MNT from Duluth. Aitkin County was in the Duluth DMA for years (and still should be IMHO, at least in part) and Hill City is very close to the Itasca county line.

I posted this 4 years ago. Nothing has changed local wise except maybe a subchannel added

Reason KCCW and KAWE are carried is because they are significant viewed in Itasca County. Most (if not all) cable companies in Itasca county carry KCCW and KAWE

Hasn't been for almost 20 years. 2001 was last year Aitkin county was in Duluth DMA. There were Duluth translators in Aitkin after that. WDIO ABC turned theirs off between late 2004 & early 2005, KBJR NBC & KDLH CBS sometime in mid 2007 and KQDS FOX last year
