How do cable tv companies pick which roads to put cable on ??? I want cable bad but they still haven't put it up our road. It's about 3 miles down the road on another road.

Cable companies like to go first where they will make the most money unless the local government makes them go first to poorer neighborhoods. Why wait? You don't need cable. Go to:http://www.directv.comhttp://www.dishnetwork.com/Better service. Better pictures. More channels for the dollar?I couldn't wait to get cable. After I dealt with them, I couldn't wait to dump them.

that is just it they dont cover one of my local channels because it is a smaller cbs station here in se kentucky. I want that channel

WYMT-TV (CBS) channel 57 of Hazard, KY? That's technically a part of the Lexington/Danville market, last I saw. What about WKYT-TV (CBS) channel 27 of Lexington? Do they feel that their rights are getting infringed upon?

dish does cover 27 wkyt but i do like both 57 and 27 57 does have a little more local news then 27 i mean they go more in depth on something here in london ky

Doesn't WKYT *own* WYMT? (i.e., they'd be infringing their own rights<grin>)

I know they were co-owned at one time. Somehow, after a bankruptcy they ended up in the hands of the State of Kentucky, which promptly sold them - I thought both to the same buyer but maybe not?

The FCC database lists "GRAY TELEVISION LICENSEE, INC." as the licensee for both.
