Cablevision Adds TV One

TV One's a really good network...it's like the anti-BET.

Just like GAC is the anti-CMT, I suppose... ::)

In a related item, I understand that Cablevision is also adding BBC America to their lineup, as well. At this rate, they'll probably add the new Al-Jazeera Network before NFLN...

The NFL Network is worthless more often than it's not. At least the NHL, MLB and NBA (well not now) have something to report on their leagues much longer than only 18 weeks a year. Not having it saves you money on your cable bill and everyone can appreciate that.

Uh, you need to get over that waste of bandwidth called "the NFL Network".
In favor of what? THE TENNIS CHANNEL ??

Cheers :D

In favor of NOTHING, Pat... :D ::) Sports channels aside from ESPN and maybe the regional FOX Sports Net outlets are POINTLESS.

TV One is one of the FEW decent channels left in cable/satellite clusterf*ck, and SURPRISE it's family-friendly and provides exposure to black filmmakers and entertainers.

@Robnoxious: It's more than just an 18-week sport. There's the annual draft, the training camps prior to the start of the regular season - and don't forget the video version of Rich Eisen's podcast... Just to name a few advantages... ::)
