Call me crazy, but...

I was listening to 101.9, an open frequency in my area, this morning around 9:15. I heard a station fade in through the static playing 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'... It sounded like it may have been meteor scatter, as the signal came and went in a matter of seconds.

I am not under the influence of any drugs, and this wasn't in the middle of a dream. I was wide awake, and I heard a station playing christmas music in the middle of April. Perhaps the station in question was stunting?

Does anybody know of ANY stations on 101.9 that would play christmas music in April? Am I correct in assuming that the station is indeed stunting? This was heard in Coldwater, MI
______________

I am going to guess it was a stunt. I remember 3 years ago in March-April when WKSZ Green Bay, WI switched from CHR to Hot AC they stunted with Christmas music "95-9 With A Bow Ontop". They have since flipped back to CHR last month.
______________

You're crazy
Don't forget to leave out the possibility that the station's signal bounced off another planet and came back
haha j/k

Seriously, don't rule out a passing Part 15 station. If it's a stunting station, it would be discussed somewhere on Radio-Info.
______________
