Hello
WFAA just did a story that the Phoenix Project here in Dallas lost EVERYTHING last night to thieves.
The Phoenix Project is an organization that helps military families readjust to civilian life by sending them to a retreat at Pilot Point.
There are 33 families flying in TODAY and the organization is struggling to keep the retreat floating for the families that are in the air and landing in DFW at 2pm
I just spoke with their founder Theresa Goforth and they need a wireless pa system in the worst way because one of the activities involves teaching husbands and wives how to reconnect by dancing together.
The thieves stole all of their music and their wireless microphone so we need that so I am appealing to you to see if you have clients or relatives who might help.
This is also an equestrian retreat, the thieves stole all of their saddles so if there is any chance you have access to any extra even if it is just for this next week, it would be helpful to the project.
FLAGS!!! The thieves stole all of their flags including those for Texas, the American Flags they had as well as flags from each branch of the military
We are ALL in such a wonderful position to help and time is of the essence so please if you have a flag, a saddle or a microphone and/or even some swing music PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact me or you can reach out to Theresa directly at 214-924-0269
PLEASE use your voice to help this wonderful organization and to help our men and women who are coming home today

Burglars target foundation for returning soldiers
DALLAS - Thieves may have ruined an upcoming retreat for soldiers returning from Iraq.
Burglars hit a Dallas foundation that conducts week-long counseling camps for vets and their families; and it happened just before a planned week-long event for 18 soldiers' families.
