Job description: Radio imaging production service is aggressively seeking Listener Audio pros. We’re looking for four candidates to fill each of our four format categories (NEWS/TALK, AC, COUNTRY, & ROCK). Candidates will be given creative direction on a weekly or daily basis regarding what types of interviews are needed. The individual needs to be creative and resourceful to seek out and gather great listener audio, meeting all required deadlines.
Experience:
Strong interview skills and knows the tricks and the trades of capturing great listener audio from real people. Experience in related format is a plus. Should have a discerning ear regarding listener audio and how it’s used in radio imaging. Should be resourceful regarding places to access related formats demographic. A working knowledge of radio imaging and how listener audio is used is also a big plus.
Required tools: High caliber portable microphone that records quality audio in wav form (HHB flash-mic preferred). However, individual can use other equipment if the quality of audio is good.
